Adapt the setup to a compatible rear-seat configuration.
Depending on your vehicle and its manufacturer’s instructions, the tether may be attached using a compatible rear-seat headrest post or compatible seat-belt webbing. Always confirm that the chosen point is secure and does not interfere with the vehicle’s original safety equipment.

Use only with a compatible rear-seat headrest post that is suitable for this type of attachment.
Seat Belt
Use only with compatible seat-belt webbing and follow both product and vehicle instructions.
Clearance

Never Use

STEP 01
Fit the Harness
Place your pet in a correctly sized, properly fitted travel harness and confirm all straps, buckles and attachment points are secure.
STEP 02
Choose a Rear-Seat Location
Position your pet in the rear passenger area. Do not place your pet in front of an active airbag.
STEP 03
Select an Attachment Method
Choose a compatible headrest-post or seat-belt-webbing attachment according to the product and vehicle instructions.
STEP 04
Secure the Tether
Attach the upper end firmly and confirm that it cannot slide off, loosen, interfere with seat movement or obstruct original vehicle safety equipment.
STEP 05
Connect It to the Harness
Clip the rotating connector to the designated back attachment point of the harness. Never connect it to a collar.
STEP 06
Adjust the Length
Allow enough room for sitting, lying down and repositioning while preventing access to unsafe areas.

Perform a Safety Check
Gently pull on every connection point. Confirm all hardware is closed, the anchor is secure, the harness fits correctly and the strap is not twisted.

STEP 09
Secure Your Pet Before Opening the Door
At your destination, attach a leash or hold the harness securely before disconnecting the tether or opening a vehicle door.
